DTE Electric filed on April 28, 2026 for a $474.3 million increase in base rates, just two months after regulators approved $242.4 million from its previous request. The Attorney General's April 28 release puts the request at 9.7% for residential customers, the figure shown here; her August release rounds the same request to 10%. DTE wants a 10.25% return on equity versus 9.9% now. The commission is expected to rule around February 2027, and the Attorney General has asked it to hold the increase to no more than $134.5 million.
